Contraindications:

• Known allergy or hypersensitivity to Dolutegravir, Lamivudine, Tenofovir, or any excipients in the tablet. Severe liver or kidney disease (renal impairment or advanced liver disease) — because Tenofovir and other components may affect renal function or require dose adjustment. Pre-existing bone disorders or risk of bone-density loss — long-term Tenofovir use has been associated with reduced bone mineral density in some patients. Active or chronic hepatitis B infection: discontinuing or improper use may worsen liver/bone/renal outcomes. Pregnancy or breastfeeding — special caution, and only under strict medical supervision (because of unknown or potential risks).

Side Effects:

• Common / Frequent (usually mild)Headache, dizziness Gastrointestinal symptoms: nausea, diarrhea, abdominal pain, indigestion, loss of appetite, sometimes vomiting Fatigue or tiredness Sleep disturbances / insomnia Skin reactions: rash, itching, dryness, possibly hair-loss (rare) Mood / neuro-psychiatric issues: depression, irritability, difficulty concentrating, memory issues in some cases. Possible kidney effects or increase in blood markers (if underlying kidney problems) — requires monitoring. Serious (Less common but critical)Risk of lactic acidosis (buildup of lactic acid) — symptoms may include extreme tiredness, unusual muscle pain, breathing problems, stomach pain, cold or numb arms/legs, dizziness, irregular heartbeat. Severe allergic or hypersensitivity reactions — rash, swelling (face, lips), difficulty breathing, skin blistering — requires immediate medical attention. Liver injury, kidney impairment — especially in patients with pre-existing liver / renal issues. Bone mineral density reduction (with long-term use), bone pain, risk of fractures — especially in prolonged therapy.

Precautions:

• Always take exactly as prescribed; do not skip doses or stop abruptly — doing so increases risk of viral rebound, resistance, or treatment failure. Regular monitoring: kidney function, liver enzymes, bone mineral density (especially if long-term), calcium/vitamin D levels if needed — your doctor may order periodic blood tests. Avoid or limit alcohol — alcohol can strain liver/kidney and reduce effectiveness, and increase risk of side effects. Safe-sex practices are essential — Diltra suppresses viral load but does not guarantee complete non-transmission risk. Use condoms, avoid sharing needles or personal items. Inform doctor about pregnancy, breastfeeding, other diseases (kidney, liver, bone, hepatitis) before starting. Do not use other antiretroviral drugs without medical supervision — mixing may cause drug interactions or resistance.

Dietary Restrictions:
